Athletes from Negros Occidental will be competing in the Batang Pinoy National Finals, which begin today in Baguio City.

Opening ceremonies were supposed to take place over the weekend, but were canceled by the Philippine Sports Commission.

Bacolod City will be represented in the chess and girls’ volleyball competitions, while Sagay City will be participating in futsal and girls’ sepak takraw.

The competition runs until Friday, September 21./JSG, WDJ
