The Negros Occidental provincial government turned over P4,419,499 earlier this week to fund various projects in Sagay City, Escalante City, Calatrava, and Toboso.

Among the projects expected to be funded include emergency and disaster preparedness mobility service projects, the construction of a multipurpose building, rehabilitation of water systems, purchase of a multipurpose vehicle, and the concreting of a road.

Meanwhile, the Aliwanay Farmworkers Association received P80,000 and the Cervantes Seaweeds and Mangrove Association of Escalante City was provided with P250,000./WDJ
