A woman was seriously injured after she accidentally touched a live wire on Sunday in Barangay Kapitan Ramon, Silay City.

Police identified the victim as 40-year-old Letecia Montesa, a resident of the said area.

Silay City police said Montesa climbed on top of her house in order to clear several tree branches when she accidentally touched a live wire.

The victim fell from the roof of her home and struck her head on a rock.

Montesa was immediately rushed to the hospital following the incident./DGB, WDJ
