Sagay City FC dominates UNO-R in quarters

After blanking the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) in the first leg of their Negros First/NOFA Provincial Football Championship 2018 quarterfinal series, Sagay City FC won the second leg, 7-2, over the weekend at the Ramon Torres National High School Sports Complex in Bago City.

Miguel Marañon and Zoren Baril scored two goals apiece; while Ryan Monares, Melbert Santillan, and Argel Pantoja each contributed one.

Sagay City FC will next meet the University of St. La Salle in the semifinals, scheduled to run from September 29 to 30.

On the other side of the tournament, Bago City FC and Villa Angela FC both won the first legs of their respective quarterfinal match-ups./JSG, WDJ
