A farmer was injured after he was reportedly gored by a carabao last Sunday in EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.

Authorities identified the farmer as 30-year-old Rene Polapol, a resident of the said town.

Based on eyewitness accounts, Polapol was riding the carabao, when they happened to pass a bull. The animal stopped, which forced the farmer to drag the animal away.

However, the carabao responded by goring Polapol in the right leg.

The victim was rushed to the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City following the incident./DGB, WDJ
