A suspected motorcycle thief was arrested Saturday night after he crashed his vehicle at Helvetia Heights in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as Roberto Lim, a resident of Sagay City, Negros Occidental.

Police Station 4 (PS4) traffic investigator, Police Officer 1 Erhex Branyl Tan, said they immediately responded to the crash and brought Lim to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment.

However, after reviewing the motorcycle’s plates, they found it was reported stolen last year.

Lim was subsequently arrested while at the hospital./DGB, WDJ
