SM City Bacolod employees recently conducted an event at the St. Vincent’s Home in Bacolod City’s Barangay Tangub, where they spent the day with the facility’s 25 resident seniors. They played games, shared a meal, and distributed gifts.

“We encourage our employees to share themselves with the community through various volunteer services,” said human resources manager Carlynna Tionko.

Throughout September, SM Malls will also be providing benefits for seniors, including wellness and beauty sessions; opportunities to participate in senior-led bazaars; along with celebrating Grandparents’ Day, which is on Sunday, September 9.

Across the country, SM Malls has positively impacted the lives of around 3,000 senior citizens./WDJ
