A high-value drug target was arrested by police following a Thursday morning raid on his residence at the Carmela Subdivision in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City.
Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Melvin Pancho.
Silay City police chief, Police Superintendent Noel Polines, said they served a search warrant, issued by Judge Ana Celeste Bernad of the Silay City Regional Trial Court-Branch 69, on alleged possession of illegal drugs charges.
A search of the residence yielded a total of 10 sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and a black-colored pouch.
Pancho is currently detained at the Silay City Police Station on drug-related charges./DGB, WDJ
