Ceres FC to meet Davao in opener

Philippines Football League (PFL) champions Ceres-Negros FC will open their 2018 Copa Paulino Alcantara campaign against Davao Aguilas FC tomorrow, September 1, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

They are joined in Group A by Stallion Laguna FC, who Ceres FC will meet on September 15 and 19.

The Negrense squad will then meet Davao again on September 22.

The top two clubs in each group advances to the semifinals.

The winner of the tournament earns a spot in the 2019 AFC Cup group stage.

The finals are scheduled to take place on October 27./JSG, WDJ
