The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recently awarded Negros Occidental third district Rep. Alfredo Benitez a 2018 Kabalikat Award in recognition of efforts made in the promotion and enhancement of the agency’s technical-vocational education and training (TVET) program.

The Kabalikat Awards are divided into several categories, including recognition for institutional, industry, local government unit, and legislative partners.

Last month, TESDA honored four TVET graduates with disabilities, including a 24-year-old blind massage therapist from Aklan.
