The Philippine Information Agency-Region VI (PIA-6) opens their 2018 Campus Journalism Seminar-Workshop at The Mansion in Iloilo City today, August 22.

The event is scheduled to run until Friday, August 24.

“This activity is conducted annually to provide student writers with basic skills and perspectives, and develop in them the appreciation for development communication,” explained PIA-6 officer-in-charge Jaime S. Cabag, Jr.

Over 300 student journalists from over 60 publications are expected to participate.

In addition, Cabag noted, discussion touching upon adolescent and mental health, along with the Social Security System, will be included in this year’s seminar-workshop./WDJ
