Following a recent meeting between Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. and Buglas Foundation, Inc. executives, a memorandum of agreement is scheduled to take place to provide Negrense technical vocational students with a scholarship to study at the Dualtech Training Center in Calamba, Laguna.

With the training center’s main program being electromechanics technology, which teaches basic skills, industrial skills, personal development, among other subjects, the scholarship looks to produce high quality electromechanic technicians.

According to Dualtech Executive Director Jerry Webb Muhi, 98 percent of their graduates have become gainfully employed within a year after graduation./WDJ
