Iloilo City named ‘most improved,’ finishes fourth in government efficiency
During Thursday’s Regional Competitiveness Summit, which took place at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, Iloilo City was named “most improved” and placed fourth in terms of government efficiency.
“It’s a very significant award for the city,” said Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III.
Meanwhile, the city placed 11th in the overall most competitive, economic dynamism, and resiliency categories.
“We were number 32 last year and moved to number 11 this year,” the mayor pointed out.
