The Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6) office will be formally transferred to the Casa Real de Iloilo on Monday, August 20.

“We already transferred some of our documents and other properties needed for the department’s functions,” explained DOT-6 director, Atty. Helen J. Catalbas.

She noted, some staff will remain at the old office building to inform walk-in visitors of the new location.

The DOT-6 building will eventually be demolished to make way for the Iloilo Capitol complex redevelopment project./WDJ
