The Provincial Nutrition Committee recently closed their Nutrition Month observance with an awards ceremony at the Nature’s Village Resort in Talisay City.

Hinoba-an was named ‘Most Outstanding Municipality;’ Nona Robles of Barangay 2 Poblacion, Hinoba-an won ‘Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar;’ and Dr. Edmundo Janeo of EB Magalona won ‘Most Outstanding Municipal Nutrition Action Officers.’

Meanwhile, Angel Rose Tala of Calatrava was awarded special recognition for participation.

Nearly 300 barangay nutrition scholars and municipal nutrition action officers from 19 town across Negros Occidental attended the event./WDJ
