A 63-year-old man was recently arrested after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop at the City Ville Subdivision in Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as Abelardo Sumpio, a resident of the said area.

Police Station 4 (PS4) anti-drug operatives said Sumpio was arrested late Sunday night after he handed over one sachet of suspected shabu worth P200.

A search of the suspect yielded three small and two elongated sachets of suspected shabu worth P6,000, drug paraphernalia, and the P200 in marked money.

Sumpio is detained at PS4 and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
