At least three people were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and San Carlos City police on Saturday after yielding illegal drugs and firearms during buy-bust operation in the city’s Barangay 5.

Police identified the arrested as Raymund Dolino, Mark Carallas, and Cris John Talavero, all residents of the said area.

PDEA and San Carlos anti-drug operatives said they recovered a total 11 small and three elongated sachets of suspected shabu from the suspects, as well as a ziplock bag containing dried marijuana leaves.

Also recovered were drug paraphernalia, a .38 caliber revolver with five bullets in the chamber, the P500 in marked money, and suspected drug proceeds amounting to P1,790.

A total of P48,000 worth of illegal drugs was recovered in the operation.

All three are detained at the San Carlos City Police Station and face illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
