Suspected shabu worth an estimated P1.2 million was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Magayon, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City.

Wednesday’s late-night operation led to the arrest of Renante Solanan, Pastor Palo, Jesus Paurillo, and Jesus Rodriguez, police said.

The suspected illegal drugs recovered from the suspects were contained in 21 plastic sachets, said Inspector Adrian James Albaytar of the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit.

Police also confiscated two sling bags, a digital weighing scale and P2,000 marked money from the suspects.

Albaytar said this confiscation alongside what the police estimated to be P1.4 million and P72 million worth of shabu seizures recently will hurt the supply of illegal drugs in Bacolod.

The four suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the Police Station 6 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
