HTP Dot 4 beats Rev-X All Terrain to capture 35 & below title

HTP Dot 4 defeated Rev-X All Terrain, 75-62, last Monday to complete the 10-game sweep and win the 35 and below championship of the Fil-Sino Petron Cup 2018 at Bacolod Tay Tung gym.

Carlo Chu scored 18 points to lead HTP Dot 4 backstopped by Brian Coo’s 12 points as Dante Ma added 10 points.

HTP Dot 4 posted a 20-16 advantage in the opening quarter as Ma and Coo combined for 13 points while Miguel Mosquera and Jas Guevarra conspired for 14 markers for Rev-X All Terrain.

Carlo Chu drilled 10 points to extend his team’s lead to 40-31 at the break while Robbie Jalandoon and Brix Arrobang made 6 points each for Rev-X.

But,  Bambam Guevarra scored 8 in the third period as Rev-X All Terrain cut the deficit to 56-49 going into the playoff period.

Jalandoon scored 11 of his 13 points for Rev -X All Terrain but his effort was not enough to counter the balance offensive of the champions led by Chu and Marc Lo who conspired for 11 points to seal the championship for HTP Dot 4.

Jalandoon paced Rev-X All Terrain with 19 points as Mosquera and Arrobang delivered 10 points apiece./JSG,  WDJ
