A suspected drug personality was arrested over the weekend in a buy-bust operation at Sitio Sayding, Barangay Udtongan in Escalante City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the suspect as 36-year-old Lloyd Sabordo, a resident of Barangay Langub Proper in the said city.

Escalante City chief of police, Police Chief Inspector Rollie Pondevilla, said Sabordo was on the city’s local drugs watchlist.

Police recovered three sachets of suspected shabu from the suspect, as well as P200 in marked money and the suspect’s motorcycle.

Sabordo faces possession and sale of illegal drugs charges and is presently detained at the Escalante City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
