Bago City topped four categories during last month’s Gawad Kalasag ceremony at the Iloilo City Convention Center.

Among the honors included the Bago City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office being named Best Component City DRRM Council in the Western Visayas, the city’s Barangay Busay taking Best Barangay DRRM-Rural, Gen. Juan Araneta Elementary School named Best Schools Primary Public Elementary, and Bago Emergency Response Team winning Best Local Government Emergency Management.

Meanwhile, it was earlier reported, the Bacolod CDRRMO was named Best highly-urbanized City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.”/WDJ
