Ceres FC departs for Singapore

Defending AFC Cup ASEAN Zone champions Ceres-Negros FC recently left for Singapore, where they will play the second leg of the AFC Cup ASEAN Zonal finals against Home United at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore on Wednesday, August 8.

The first leg ended with a 1-1 draw.

“Hopefully, we can improve our performance to get the result we need,” said Ceres FC striker Blake Powell. “We’ll need to execute our game plan better and quicker.”

The winner will advance to the AFC Cup Inter-zone playoff semifinals, where they will meet North Korean club April 25./JSG, WDJ
