Two loan officers robbed at gunpoint in Kabankalan City

Two loan officers were reportedly held-up at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon in Barangay Magballo, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the victims as Deo Nathan Antonio, a resident of Barangay Camansi in the said city; and Ceazar Ian Doriman of Barangay Galicia, Ilog.

Based on information provided by Kabankalan City police, the two were heading back to their office on a motorcycle when they were stopped by two unidentified men, who were also aboard a motorcycle.

One of the suspects dismounted and pointed a revolver at the victims declaring a hold-up.

The gunman proceeded to take the victims’ backpacks, which contained collection money amounting to P58,778 in cash.

The suspect then returned to his motorcycle and fled.

Kabankalan City police are presently looking into the identities of the suspects./DGB, WDJ
