Catholic Ming Yuan College, Inc. founder, Fr. Estanislao Su, alongside Taiwanese agronomist, Professor Yi Sung Chen, paid a courtesy visit on Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. at the Capitol earlier this week. They were joined by three Taiwanese students who are in the province as part of an exchange program.
According to Catholic Ming Yuan College, Inc. Dean Teresa Lagradilla, the school has a memorandum of understanding with Taiwan’s MingDao University.
The three exchange students, ER Syuan Chen, Yang Hsiang Wang, and Sheng Ping Hsu, will study English at the Murcia-based school while sharing their knowledge about agriculture with local students.
Also present during the visit were Negros Occidental Scholarship Program head Karen Dinsay; Provincial Agriculturist, Atty. Japhet Masculino; Provincial Engineer Ernie Mapa; among others./WDJ
