The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) named the Negros Occidental BFP the “Best BFP Provincial Office for 2018” during a ceremony yesterday at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.

Provincial fire marshal, Fire Superintendent Pamela Rojane Candido, credited their various fire protection programs, along with intensified inspections, which she said surpassed last year’s records.

The Negros Occidental BFP has received a total of 17 lot donations for the establishment of fire stations in various cities and municipalities throughout the province./WDJ
