Several Bacolod City school buildings are reportedly without permits from the Office of the Building Official (OBO).

OBO head, Engr. Isidro Sun, Jr., said they have handed down notices of violation to the city’s schools, which include those constructed between 2014 to 2016.

Sun also said he met with City Engineer Abraham Villareal regarding violations by the contractors of the buildings.

He, added, except for the fire permit from the Bureau of Fire Protection, there is no fee for securing an OBO permit since the buildings in question are government-owned./DGB, WDJ
