P35.8K worth of items stolen from Cadiz City store

Around P35,805 worth of items were reportedly stolen after unidentified suspects broke into a dry goods store on Monday in Barangay Zone 3, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the victim as 22-year-old store manager Janneth Dablo, who is originally from Zamboanga Sibugay.

Cadiz City Police Station investigators said, around 8:30 a.m., when Dablo was opening the shop, she noticed several articles of clothing and bags were missing.

Dablo immediately contacted police.

Investigators said the suspects gained entry by breaking through an adjoining wall.

Cops recovered a backpack, a hydraulic jack, and a bottle of mineral water from the crime scene, all suspected to have been used by the robbers.

Police are presently investigating the robbery./DGB, WDJ
