The Negros Occidental Provincial Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) yesterday held a disaster preparedness contest for provincial employees at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center (NOMPAC) in Bacolod City as part of their National Disaster Resilience Month, which runs throughout July.
PDRRMO Zeaphard Caelian said the program will encourage provincial employees to be more proactive in disaster response.
Among the “events” included bandaging, securing splints, basic first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), among others.
