The City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) reported recovering a total 2,512 sacks of garbage following various declogging operations conducted across Bacolod City between January and July.
According to CDRRMO cluster head, Executive Assistant Joemarie Vargas, among the debris collected including plastic bottles and rotting vegetation, which were primarily found near the city’s main markets.
He reiterated an appeal for city residents to dispose of their garbage properly and to avoid littering.
