The Department of Public Works and Highways recently approved P67 million in infrastructure projects for EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.

Mayor Marvin Malacon said the projects were made possible by Negros Occidental third district Rep. Alfredo Benitez.

In a letter to Malacon, District Engineer Jaime Javellana listed P56,395,247 for the construction of water systems, along with over P11 million for a road concreting project.

According to the mayor, the projects will help improve the town’s economy and more residents will have access to water.
