Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) recently inaugurated their new mental health unit, which is staffed with psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurses to deal with psychological and emotional issues.

“I hope this facility will be able to serve the people with needs and care [for] their mental health issues and emotional care issues,” said hospital chief, Dr. Julius Drilon.

He added, mental health is often neglected and misunderstood, calling the new facility the “first-of-its-kind.”

The unit, which is intended to be a short-stay facility, is equipped with 12 beds.
