The Iloilo City government recently distributed assistance funds for 14 families affected by heavy rains or fire.

P7,000 was provided for those whose houses were completely damaged, while P3,500 was given to those whose homes were partially-damaged.

“We hope that the amount given will somehow help,” said Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III.

The beneficiaries were from the city’s City Proper, Arevalo, and Jaro districts./WDJ
