The seventh-most wanted drug personality in Victorias City was arrested late Tuesday afternoon following a buy-bust operation at the Canetown Subdivision in Barangay 19-A of the said city.

Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Rex Abellar, a resident of the said barangay.

The operation was carried out by the Victorias City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit, which recovered one small and two elongated sachets of suspected shabu, worth P5,000; P680 in suspected drug money; the P400 marked money; and Abellar’s motorcycle, which was allegedly used for transporting illegal drugs.

Abellar is presently detained at the Victorias City Police Station and faces charged in violation of Sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
