A motorcyclist was injured late Monday evening after crashing into a road barrier along Bacolod-Murcia road in Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City.

Police identified the victim as 23-year-old Ralph Gutas, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Bago City.

Police Station 7 traffic investigators said Gutas was traveling eastbound when he crashed.

Gutas sustained several injuries to his leg and was immediately rushed to a hospital in Bacolod City for treatment.

His motorcycle, meanwhile, was damaged from the impact.

Investigators believe Gutas may have not noticed the road barrier due to poor visibility caused by the rain./DGB, WDJ
