At least two suspected drug personalities were arrested late Friday evening in Bacolod City following two separate buy-bust operations in Barangay Banago and Barangay 3.

Police identified the two suspects as 37-year-old Martilee Demafelis of Purok Langis in Barangay Banago and 26-year-old Mary Grace Avancena of Purok Cereza South in Barangay 3.

Information provided by the Bacolod City Police Office said Demafelis was arrested after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop, in exchange for P200.

Police Station 3 personnel also recovered two more sachets of suspected shabu from Demafelis following a search.

Meanwhile, Police Station 2 anti-drug operatives arrested Avancena after recovering two sachets of suspected shabu.

Both suspects face charges in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
