The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) will be hosting “A Talk on Event Styling” today, July 12, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the UNO-R President’s Hall.

Robert John Blancaflor, who transitioned from a banking career to one in event styling, and established 1816 Flowers, which later became the Robert Blancaflor Group, Inc. (RBG), will tell his story of coming up in the business.

Among the weddings he has styled include Hong Kong celebrities Nicolas Tse and Cecilia Chung, along with Vicky Belo and Hayden Kho’s nuptials in Paris. In addition, he has also worked with Aga Muhlach, Ruffa Guttierez, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, and Claudine Barreto.
