A suspected drug personality was arrested by Police Station 8 (PS8) operatives during an early Saturday morning buy-bust operation at Purok Neptune in Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as 51-year-old Edwin Alvarez, a resident of the said area.

Reports released by PS8 said Alvarez was nabbed after he handed over one sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P200.

A search of the suspect yielded three more sachets of suspected shabu and suspected drug money amounting to P420.

The suspect is presently detained at PS8 and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
