The Metro Bacolod District Jail (MBDJ) in Barangay Taculing held an oath-taking ceremony yesterday for inmates who recently completed coursework with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

MBDJ warden, Jail Inspector Ruth Estales, said around 25 took courses in massage, while another 50 will be taking welding courses next month.

She said the cooperation between the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology and TESDA seeks to provide inmates with important livelihood skills./DGB, WDJ
