Table tennis players for the University of St. La Salle and the Lopue’s Table Tennis Association (LOPTTA) recently received a donation of Mizuno table tennis shoes.

Sports benefactor James Sy facilitated the donation of 26 pairs of shoes from Japan, noting, proper equipment will help young players perform well.

“We are very thankful,” said LOPTTA head, Dr. Leonito ‘Diotay’ Lopue. “Mr. Sy is a very generous person having donated, in the past, several boxes of table tennis balls, rackets, and a robot machine.”

Most recently, LOPTTA earned one silver and two bronze medals at the Filipino-Chinese Friendship Day Table Tennis Invitational Championship, which took place last month at Harrison Plaza in the Malate district of Manila./PLL, WDJ
