The Department of Agrarian Reform recently distributed school supplies for 75 children of agrarian reform beneficiaries in Barangays San Miguel and Minoyan in Murcia.

Bags, school supplies, raincoats, caps, umbrellas, among other items were distributed to students of San Miguel Elementary School, Minoyan Elementary School, and San Miguel High School.

The program is part of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) 30th anniversary observance.

President Rodrigo Duterte was in Cabatuan, Iloilo recently for a CARP anniversary event, where a total 3,772 Land Ownership Award certificates were issued to 2,314 beneficiaries./WDJ
