A pregnant woman was arrested after Police Station 4 (PS4) anti-drug operatives conducted a buy-bust operation late Wednesday evening in Barangay 27, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as 24-year-old Florida Vergel, a resident of Purok Cereza in the said barangay.

PS4 station commander, Police Senior Inspector Adrian Real, said they arrested Vergel inside her residence after she handed one sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,000 to a police poseur buyer.

A search further yielded three big sachets of suspected shabu, valued at P13,500; and suspected drug money amounting to P600.

Vergel is detained at PS4 and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
