Following the 2-0 win by Ceres-Negros FC over Stallion Laguna FC earlier this week, the two meet again on Sunday, July 1, at the Panaad Park and Stadium.
“Despite missing three of my players due to cards, I believe they are well-motivated and ready for the match,” said Stallion head coach Ernest Nierras.
For Ceres coach Risto Vidaković, he affirmed difficulties the club faces with every match.
“Our team has to play every game one hundred percent because the opponents are always super motivated,” he said. “It’s not easy.”
Ceres, the defending Philippines Football League (PFL) champions, currently sit atop the PFL table on 38 points, nine points clear of second place Kaya FC-Iloilo, who have one game in hand. Meanwhile, Stallion Laguna is in fourth place with 18 points./JSG, WDJ
