The Bacolod City Police-City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) conducted a buy-bust operation late Tuesday night at Purok Seaside, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City, resulting in the arrests of Razzel Baguing and Reggie Pranisa, both residents of the said place.

CDEU assistant team leader, Police Inspector Adrian James Albaytar, said they moved in on the suspects after Baguing handed one elongated sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop, in exchange for P1,000.

Police also arrested Pranisa for alleged conspiracy to sell illegal drugs.

A search of the suspects yielded two more elongated and four big sachets of suspected shabu, as well as the P1,000 marked money.

Albaytar valued the seized illicit substance at P243,000.

Both suspects are detained at Police Station 8 and face possession and sale of illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
