In an invitation letter by the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) for their 2nd Quarterly National Executive Officer National Board Meeting and Continuing Local Legislative Education Program, which closes today at the Iloilo Convention Center, the organization called the city “a fast-growing modern community.”

The letter, signed by PCL National Chairman Danilo Dayanghirang, PCL National President Luis ‘Chavit’ Singson, and PCL National Secretary Joaquin Emmanuel G. Pimentel, said the city was experiencing a “tremendous boom.”

“This has not gone unnoticed by the nation’s big players like SM, Megaworld, Ayala, Robinsons, and Gaisano,” the letter elaborated.

Around 3,000 city and municipal councilors attended the event./WDJ
