Following the passage of Game and Amusements Board (GAB) Resolution No. 2018-09, which created a youth championship in boxing, the agency recently approved rules, requirements, and regulations for the competition.

According to the guidelines, boxers between the ages of 18 and 23, who have won two eight-round bouts or fought in seven professional fights, are eligible to compete.

In addition, when a champion reaches 23 years old, they are eligible to defend their title once and, if successful, they must relinquish the title before turning 24./JSG, WDJ
