“…The spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons…” –1 Timothy 4:1
Anybody who visits my home province Tarlac, where I grew up and spent my youth, will be amazed by the tag of being an “amalgamation” of various cultures. Indeed, Tarlac is noted for its patriots, those who truly served their province and country; but it is also with its own share of traitors, those who served only their personal, family, and political interests, to the point of kowtowing to foreign masters and imperiling the rights and welfare of their “comprovincianos,” along with the nation.
Who are the patriots? Who are the traitors? I am sure even non-Tarlacquenos, those neither born nor stayed or lingered in Tarlac, know who they are.
Congratulations on the campaign against “istambay”
This issue was discussed in yesterday’s issue of “Watchmen Daily Journal,” highlighting how God hates “istambay,” or loiterers; their idle hands; and all who do nothing but drink on the street while being boisterous and half-naked.
Arresting istambay was an act of police power by the state. It is time we instill discipline back among Filipinos and prevent them from lording over our highways, alleys, and communities. We need to bring back peace and safety, especially for women and children.
Ordinary citizens have rights as well, particularly with regard to living in a safe and peaceful environment, along with the right to oppose those whose minds are under control of the devil.
Congratulations to President Rodrigo Duterte and the Philippine National Police!
“Tanim-bala” was prompted by the devil
This column has been echoing this statement.
Filipinos find it easy to be corrupted because they know corruption and evil provides access to money and (of course) power. Even the most saintly of Filipinos cannot resist, at some point, they succumb to corruption.
Why is this happening? Filipinos have strayed from God and are no longer listening nor obeying his commands. And this will continue because Filipinos no longer read the Bible. The faith of many is “fake and spurious” and shaped by teachers who only say what purported believers want to hear.
May God have mercy on all Filipinos.
