Sagay City government distributes school supplies

The Sagay City government, in cooperation with the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division of Sagay City, recently launched the Lapis kag Papel Project at the city’s Maria Lopez Elementary School.
The program provides recycled school bags and school supplies for students between kindergarten and Grade 6.
In addition, Grade 7 through 10 students at other schools will also be eligible for the free school supplies.
Meanwhile, DepEd-Sagay Schools Division Superintendent Marsette Sabaluca said Vito Elementary School students also received the free supplies.
A total 27 public elementary schools are expected to benefit from the program./WDJ
