When sugar planter, entrepreneur and philanthropist Rito Carlos Lopez Peña – better known as Judgee – started dabbling in RC collectibles in 1987, little did he know then that his hobby would turn into an obsession.

Judgee’s beloved RCs would refer to his collection of radio-controlled aircrafts, vehicles and other toys operated by transmitter, and are usually scaled down versions of the real models. These toys are definitely for the big boys.

It all started with one plane, the Sportsman. From then on, his hobby would only soar higher, accumulating one plane after the other, visiting exhibits and museums around the country and the world. Judgee’s toys now include a huge collection of airplanes, helicopters, RC cars, and drones. He and other RC pilots from the Iloilo Modelers Club, where he also served as president, regularly meet to fly their toys, show off their latest acquisitions, share their expertise in maintenance, and plan for the next excursion.

His enthusiasm can certainly rub off! Happy is Judgee to showcase his toys that his collection will be on tour for exhibits at SM malls in Bacolod, Iloilo and Puerto Princesa on June 13 to 24, just in time to celebrate Father’s Day!

At SM City Iloilo, its helicopters and hovercrafts; check out awesome airplanes at SM City Bacolod, and if you’re headed to SM City Puerto Princesa, RC cars are taking center stage.
