Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) is looking to recruit 800 new police officers this year.
“We are calling those who are interested to [joining] the Philippine National Police (PNP),” said PRO-6 spokesperson, Police Superintendent Joem Malong.
She noted, “The basic salary is now bigger.”
Applicants are encouraged to apply online, through the registration application system.
“We go [with] online recruitment so that national headquarters has control and can monitor the recruitment system,” Malong explained.
Last month, the National Police Commission (Napolcom) announced the schedule for the Online Examination Application Scheduling System for the PNP entrance and promotional examinations was set for October 21, with application scheduling for the entrance exam scheduled between July 30 and August 3.
Napolcom-Region VI director, Atty. Joseph Celis, noted applications will be on a first come, first serve basis./WDJ
