In a battle at the top of the Philippine Football League (PFL) table, Ceres-Negros FC drew Kaya FC-Iloilo, 1-1, over the weekend at the Iloilo Sports Complex.

The greater majority of the match remained scoreless until 84th minute, when Ceres midfielder Mike Ott scored off a cross from striker Patrick Reichelt. Kaya, however, responded almost immediately with defender Shirmar Felongco scoring the equalizer two minutes later.

“We’re not perfect here anymore, but we’re unbeaten,” said Kaya head coach Noel Marcaida. “That’s the most important thing for me as coach.”
